This year, the Hong Kong Jockey Club celebrates its 140th anniversary and the 30th anniversary of Tuen Mun Public Riding School.

To celebrate this occasion, Tuen Mun Public Riding School will host an open day from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday 10 November 2024. The event aims to promote and deepen the community's appreciation and understanding of equestrian sport. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the daily operations of the school's stables and experience equestrian virtual reality. For beginner enthusiasts, they will be able to ride ponies under the professional guidance of coaches, providing a thrilling hands-on equestrian experience. Furthermore, the co-organizer, Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), has prepared a range of exciting activities at Tuen Mun Public Riding School and the adjoining archery range cum gateball court at Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre, allowing members of the public to enjoy a joyful holiday.

*Tickets for some paid activities including trial pony riding, horse simulator experience and stable visit will be on sale online starting at 10am on October 21st.
