HK$154.48 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$14.3 billion, or 9.26% of the
market's turnover. There were 675 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$825.04 million and HK$685.99
million, or 5.77% and 4.8% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 15.45% and 6.65% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) and BYD COMPANY (01211) registered HK$506.44 million and HK$496.12
million of short sales, accounting for 3.54% and 3.47% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 39.88% and 15.42% of respective stock's
turnover.
XIAOMI-W closed up HK$0.7, or 2.69%, to HK$26.7. TRACKER FUND ended flat, to HK$20.46.
XL2CSOPHSTECH 0flat to HK$4.42. BYD COMPANY declined by HK$13.6, or 4.61%, to HK$281.4.
