HK$166.64 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$20.52 billion, or 12.31% of the
market's turnover. There were 685 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.02 billion and
HK$827.54 million, or 14.72% and 4.03% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 28.05% and 52.7% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$751.77 million and HK$704.14 million
of short sales, accounting for 3.66% and 3.43% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 17.72% and 14.24% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.34, or 1.63%, to HK$20.46. XL2CSOPHSTECH ended down
HK$0.228, or 4.91%, to HK$4.42. XIAOMI-W rose HK$0.15, or 0.58% to HK$26. BABA-W declined
by HK$1.7, or 1.74%, to HK$95.85.
