HK$86.82 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$10.07 billion, or 11.6% of the
market's turnover. There were 643 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.94 billion and
HK$497.45 million, or 19.28% and 4.94% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 43.39% and 55.87% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$464.73 million and HK$334.25
million of short sales, accounting for 4.61% and 3.32% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 17.81% and 15.08% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.36, or 1.73%, to HK$20.44. XL2CSOPHSTECH ended down
HK$0.214, or 4.6%, to HK$4.434. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.11, or 2.43% to HK$4.424. XIAOMI-W
declined by HK$0.3, or 1.16%, to HK$25.55.
