HK$154.25 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$18.31 billion, or 11.87% of the
market's turnover. There were 674 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.25 billion and HK$791.74
million, or 6.85% and 4.32% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 19.52% and 58.15% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$781.98 million and HK$735.14 million
of short sales, accounting for 4.27% and 4.02% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 12.6% and 13.15% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.1, or 0.47%, to HK$21.42. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.03, or
0.67%, to HK$4.534. MEITUAN-W rose HK$4.1, or 2.21% to HK$189.3. BABA-W jumped HK$0.9, or
0.93%, to HK$97.55.
