HK$90.73 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$8.89 billion, or 9.8% of the market's
turnover. There were 636 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and XI2CSOPHSTECH (07552)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$504.42 million and HK$458.03 million,
or 5.67% and 5.15% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 13.75% and 58.06% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$439.84 million and HK$382.14
million of short sales, accounting for 4.95% and 4.3% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 60.87% and 10.92% of respective stock's
turnover.
BABA-W closed up HK$0.35, or 0.36%, to HK$97. XI2CSOPHSTECH ended down HK$0.05, or 1.6%,
to HK$3.07. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.03, or 0.67% to HK$4.534. MEITUAN-W jumped HK$3.2, or
1.73%, to HK$188.4.
