There were 876 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.49 billion and HK$3.96 billion, or 10.38% and 7.49% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 34.13% and 16.83% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$2.5 billion and HK$2.33 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.73% and 4.4% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 22.63% and 38.31% of respective stock's turnover.
