There were 869 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$12.75 billion and HK$10.81 billion, or 17.79% and 15.09% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 66.17% and 47.26% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and SMIC (00981) registered HK$6.5 billion and HK$2.44 billion of short sales, accounting for 9.07% and 3.4% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 46.51% and 13.37% of respective stock's turnover.
