There were 811 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.56 billion and HK$2.94 billion, or 12.6% and 6.67% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 38.15% and 38.87% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and SMIC (00981) registered HK$1.91 billion and HK$1.5 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.33% and 3.39% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 48.06% and 12.05% of respective stock's turnover.
