HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 27,109

[ET Net News Agency, 13 January 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 27,109. The Hang Seng Index now rose 500 points, or 1.9% to
27,109; with market turnover of 100.26b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
151 points, or 1.6% to 9,371; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 95 points, or 1.6% to
5,958.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$6.2, or 4% to HK$160.5, with turnover of HK$10.83b; HSBC
HOLDINGS (00005) rose HK$3.3, or 2.7% to HK$127.4, with turnover of HK$503.18m; AIA
(01299) rose HK$2.5, or 3% to HK$86.2, with turnover of HK$941.71m. (ed)
